Terms & Conditions

    • If your dog has previously shown any signs of aggression, whatever the circumstances may be, staff must be informed.
    • If your dog snaps at water or air or chases mops, brooms, hoovers etc, staff must be informed
    • If your dog has any condition, illness, allergy or problem, staff must be informed
    • If your dog has fleas or has been showing signs of having fleas, staff must be informed. (scratching and biting)
    • If you cannot get a comb through your dogs coat staff cannot be expected to leave any length on the coat, the coat will have to be clipped back short.
    • Staff will not comb out knots and matting. Under the DEFRA Welfare Act 2007, if we cannot brush out the dog without causing the dog stress, then we will clip off the coat, as it could be considered animal cruelty.
    • We will not be held responsible for rashes, red marks etc when a dog has had to be clipped short due to an unkept coat
    • Dogs are liable to sudden movements and although we will take the utmost care of your dog, accidents can happen and we cannot be held responsible should this happen.
    • If you are late for your appointment you may have to rebook
    • If you are late collecting your dog we will charge £5 for the first 15 minutes and £5 for every 15 minutes or part of thereafter.
    • Your dog must be on a lead and kept under control at all times.
    • If you do not give me 24 hours notice if you are cancelling an appointment a charge of 50% of the price will be charged.
    • You must not enter the property where Jessies Grooming is based until invited and told it is safe. NO EXCUSES
    • You must not park in front of the garage next door or block anyone’s driveway or pathway as it affects my relationship with neighbours.
    • Children must not be allowed to run, shout or open gates.
    • Do not attempt to stroke or approach other customers dogs
  • If your dog wee’s or poo’s you are expected to clean and disinfect as appropriate.
